A local market/cafe located on Larimer in Denver downtown is definitely a hidden treasure. Surrounded by fancy ancient restaurants, The Market is a causal place where you walk in, go around and find different kind of food. Lots of pastries right at the door with a rack of different kind of roasted coffee bean for sale by weight. Further in a Deli with a full display of different hot and cold food. Sandwiches, soups, salad and pasta all available.

Arrived at Denver with a connecting flight started at 6:30am, didn’t feel like going out for a fancy dinner. Also the time zone difference from eastern time to mountain time didn’t help either. Settled in hotel after work and went downstairs to Corner Bakery Cafe for a light dinner.
The place is quite empty for dinner. The menu targets more to breakfast and lunch customers. I will be back for a breakfast later for sure. The homemade oatmeal got my attention. But the place is homey and neat. Free wifi.

Not feeling like sitting in, I ordered an Asian salad for take out. Nice light dinner.
