A local market/cafe located on Larimer in Denver downtown is definitely a hidden treasure. Surrounded by fancy ancient restaurants, The Market is a causal place where you walk in, go around and find different kind of food. Lots of pastries right at the door with a rack of different kind of roasted coffee bean for sale by weight. Further in a Deli with a full display of different hot and cold food. Sandwiches, soups, salad and pasta all available.

In your busy life every day, it’s hard to find time to care about your surroundings. When you have you cup of joe in the morning, ever see it as an art? Seattle is known to be the birth place of Starbucks and a famous coffee town. Every corner you can find a cafe nearby. Latte art can be seen anywhere. It’s more than just an impressive gesture from the cafe. There are lots of people who spend a lot of time trying to master this skill. In fact there are competitions everywhere for this type of art. The World Latte Art Championship that is happening in Cologne Germany this June and The Millrock Latte Art Championship from Coffee Fest are just a couple of those ones. In order to create different patterns in the coffee isn’t as easy as it seems. A simple search on the internet can get you a lot of articles and videos on how to master this skill.
Other than the art you can find in you drink, ever wonder what you coworkers do outside of work? There are quite a lot of talents if you start looking. Ian Boe is a game artist who does amazing work outside of his work. He’s my lovely coworker who has great passion in his work. His online gallery definitely is something you should not miss out.
Spend some time to slow down and look around. You will find art everywhere!
