Cool iPhone apps, just to name a couple

Bump

No one  will argue that the most obvious winning aspect of an iPhone is all the cool apps from the app store.  Developers do their magic and create some really cool and useful apps.  There are a couple that we really want to share with you guys.

Bump is not a new app but recently it became the top of the download list due to Apple’s commercial.  We have tried it out and it’s such a cool app.  Not to mention that it can be an ice-breaker in gatherings.  (Of course, it only works if other people also have iPhones with them) It is a cool way to exchange contacts.  And you can also take some pictures with the group and you can just “bump” it to each other.  A very interactive way to socialize with the group.

Ever get frustrated lining up in a bank or ATM trying to deposit a check?  Now you can do that through your iPhone!

Take a picture of the front and back of the check and you’re done!

The San Antonio-based company is testing the app’s features among its employees and plans to release it to the public soon.

No wonder people are addicted to iPhone.  Not only using it to socialize through Facebook and Twitter, but actually doing a lot of daily tasks in a more efficient way.

I came across the article titled “The Joys of Sex“.  I find it every entertaining.  It’s funny, probably because it’s true.

Sex in the movies are overrated.  Just how many times you think that happen in your life?

Which reminds me of an episode of Friends (I LOVE Friends and I’m still watching the reruns these days) that talks about Rachel and Ross accidentally video taped themselves having sex.  At the end of the episode, they decided to watch the tape together, started off complimenting themselves but grossed themselves out at the end.  It was hilarious.  If you want the recap, you can find it here.

Entourage VS Sex and the City

If you are not familiar with the above TV series, I suggest you to start watching them. They’re great!  If you’re a guy, you’ll definitely enjoy Entourage, I promise you there are nudity involved.  Girls, you can’t be serious if you don’t like Sex and the City?  That’s like the bible on how to be a woman.

However, if you’re a guy, I’m actually suggesting you to watch Sex and the City.  You will for sure get so much out of it.  All the issues that you are not aware of with half of the population in this world.  All the problems that your other half is facing that you have no idea.

Girls, I know nudity is not what you’re looking for in TV serious, but in watching Entourage, you’ll see the side that you may not aware of your boyfriend has.  The four guys in the movie talk and act the way when there’s no girls around.

Sadly, Sex and the City already ended years ago.  There isn’t quite another one that can replace it.  Surprisingly, if you look around, you do see packs of four girls in restaurant and coffee shop so often.  That makes you wonder if Sex and the City reflects the real world so much or it just affected this world so deeply.  An interesting fact about this TV series is that no one thought it was going to be such a big hit.  It couldn’t get onto popular TV channels such as ABC.  HBO ended up airing it not expecting anything much but what a surprise.

Shoes, a major theme in the series, taught girls so much about how to appreciate them.  The life styles that the four girls lived are just any girl’s dream.  Nice clothes, relationship problems, female problems, gossips.  The list goes on and on.  How nice it is to just hang out with girls and talk to each other non-stop.  It seems like you can find traces from one of the four girls in the series in just any girl.  She’s a Carrie.  Her friend is so Samantha.

On the other hand, Entourage is a pretty new series that is still airing.  It is currently between seasons right now and will be back this summer.  (Can’t wait.)  Nice cars, pretty girls, naked bodies, drinking, partying… Aren’t those just dreams of every guys’?  If you can be that care free all the time, this world is just a heaven.  Entourage is totally hilarious.  A big difference from Sex and the City is that this is more of a distant life style for normal people.  Not everyone can afford to live in LA and drive around a Maserati.  It’s not that easy to be as pretty as Vince.  It’s not that easy to find a close friend like Vince who you can live off of.  BUT, you probably have a few guy friends you joke around like the pack in this series.  All you talk about is cars, girls, money, girls, girls and girls.  Girls probably can’t relate much to them at all.  Probably can’t even understand much about how they live.  But, it’s a good laugh.  Something you can totally learn about how your guy REALLY is and what he’s REALLY thinking.

Go ahead, rent them both.  You’ll be totally hooked on them!!
