Of course the recent movie hit is Avatar. It’s doing well everywhere around the world. I have been telling anyone who hasn’t seen it not to bother seeing it in 2D since it’s just not the same. The 3D effects in the movie are just really awesome. It brings movies to another level. And now, you can even enjoy the movie in 4D – in Korea for now. The 4th dimension includes moving seats, wind, water sprinkling, lasers and smells. With DVD getting out so quickly after a movie launch, 4D definitely is going to keep the movie theaters around for a little longer.

Marley and Me
From the trailer of this movie, it didn’t get my attention to go into the theater to see it. It seems like just another romantic comedy around a dog. The movie did a pretty good job in the box office but still, I didn’t want to go into the theater to watch another chick flick.
The movie’s DVD came out recently and I figured that should be one entertaining movie to watch at home. To my surprise, it is totally not the movie that I imagined. Yes, it is a story about this dog, Marley. It is a crazy dog. But more to the story is the life of a couple. Those are all very obvious problems that we know of, but those are problems that we can easily ignore too. Sometimes problems can be so much simpler if you can just get out of the situation and look at if from another person’s perspective, just like watching a movie. I like this movie. Not an exciting thriller. Not a hilarious comedy. But a movie that makes you think about life, think about opportunities, and think about the scarifies in life.
