On my search for restaurants in the middle of Time Square, I saw the Sushi of Gari popped up. I heard how good this restaurant is but pricey. On the last day of my project, I decided to expense my whole day’s food budget on it. It’s a bit out of the way from Time Square and it was raining but of course it didn’t stop me. To my disappointment, they only accept customers with reservation. (I would’ve known it if their phone system actually work! I actually attempted to call them to order take out but it didn’t go through and I never talked to any human being!)
Looked across and saw another Japanese restaurant. To ease my craving, I dropped in without looking up any reviews.
Prices are reasonable and I order my usual, Chirashi. Not bad. Nothing spectacular but not bad. And it didn’t cost my whole day’s food budget. :)

Finally another project with my peeps. Hanging out for dinner. The guys chose Italian over Japanese. Quick look using Yelp and found a good rating restaurant nearby.
Trattoria Trecolori was pretty packed on a Tuesday night. With no reservation, we were lucky to have a table right away.
Nice atmosphere, great talk and good food. I had a Jumbo shrimp risotto. Tasty. Risotto was made just right.

A local market/cafe located on Larimer in Denver downtown is definitely a hidden treasure. Surrounded by fancy ancient restaurants, The Market is a causal place where you walk in, go around and find different kind of food. Lots of pastries right at the door with a rack of different kind of roasted coffee bean for sale by weight. Further in a Deli with a full display of different hot and cold food. Sandwiches, soups, salad and pasta all available.
